Miscellaneous Thoughts...

I have learned this about myself lately...I have no loyalty to a library ebook...if I can't get into it...I send it back ASAP. There is something about this one that is not appealing to me...so today is my day to either read a bit more or return it. Most likely it will be sent back.

Probably I shouldn't have started reading this at the same time. Reading multiples is something I rarely do. But I really love this one...

Dinner dilemma...

I am really hungry for chicken...but I don't want to make it...Den is hungry for chili...and he wants to make it...so chili it is!

We are chili incompetent so we rely on this!

I want this tunic tee...it's my version of sporty! One of the things I love the most about not teaching is wearing relaxed boho clothes much of the time! Free People is one of my favorite boho sites.

One more new book...it's a fantasy...thank you Edelweiss!

From Amazon...

From the author of the New York Times bestselling Testing trilogy comes a sweeping new fantasy series, perfect for fans of Victoria Aveyard and Sarah J. Maas...

My girls this morning...Lucy will never love Roxie with the intensity that Roxie loves Lucy!

That's it for today...it's dreary here...Den has a headache from the rainy day that is about to happen...I am going to organize the chest of drawers that houses my napkin and placemat collection. Laundry...it never ends! We do my clothes one day, sheets another day, towels another day, Den's clothes another day...kitchen towels and napkins another day...five days of laundry? Yikes!

  1. Oh yeas, the laundry never ends around here either. I bought a new washing machine and wanted a big one. The salesman asked how many people I wash clothes for and acted shocked when I said 2. lol

    Make chicken chili!

  2. I don't know. I feel the same way about My Husband's Wife. It feels like a translation. I need to see if that is actually the case.

  3. I know what you mean about laundry...and I only have mine to worry about!

You aren't loving My Husband's Wife? I have that one, hoping to enjoy. Oh, well. Maybe I will love it. Maybe you are following a different mood than I am.

    Chili sounds wonderful!

  4. I don't hesitate to DNF library books, sad to say. The good news is that if you change your mind, you can still check it out again for free, no worries :) You always such a good "pile" of books to read, that if I were you, I wouldn't be dragged along in a so-so plot.

Have a yummy chili dinner! I never saw that kit before. I make mine from scratch and then let it sit for awhile, so it's a drawn-out endeavor to make it.

  5. Chili is great comfort food. You can totally put one together as it just involves chopping and opening cans besides measuring out spices. Sorry you hit a DNF. I like how you don't waste time. I try to give it a chance and if by 25% I'm not into it, I'll return it.
