My Friday Unfettered!

synonyms: unrestrained, unrestricted, unconstrained, uninhibited, free, rampant, unbridled, unchecked, unmufflered...

That's me! Today! I am unfettered! I am unmufflered! I am kind of unbridled! Look at how unfettered I look! I tried to grab some of my girls for an unconstrained lunch but apparently they are not as unchecked as I am...sigh! That's my new fall lip color...Nars...sort a yummy berry.



Den is playing golf today...I want him to have fun! Yesterday he was home and it rained all day so we were "doing stuff"...we were supposed to binge watch Doctor Who and Miss Marple and Project Runway and Dance Moms but all we did was work! Laundry, vacuuming, lights, lunch, dinner! I barely got to read and the entire time the rain just dripped down...all day long! Plus I made lunch and dinner! Whew...

So...I finished this late last night...really interesting novel about a Mormon family dealing with a family loss. It was really good.


Now just starting this for my hopefully perfect and unfettered day...

Reading this...really interesting...a Mormon family in the UK...a family tragedy...complex characters, of course!

Until they don't any more...her little knees might have been hurting her for a while and I never knew! Now she gets glucosamine in her food daily which means Roxie Blue also gets it...so I think I am building a super kitty!











This is dinner...from a blog I love called Chinese Grandma! It's polenta that I am baking in the oven...sautéed local mushrooms...and I am adding sautéed kale.

Wicked Witchy Wednesday!

I love the months of September, October and November...I think pumpkins. I think the colors orange, green, and yellow...colors I never wear. I think apples and butternut squashes and lots of soups! Stewy soupy fragrant thick soups!

I am slowly getting out my bins to unleash my inside fall stuff...and looking at new fall stuff...can you ever have too many pumpkins? Etsy is a great place to peruse primitives...I love these the most! So...I found a shop on Etsy called rockriverstitches.

Here are a few of the patterns she sells...oh my...I want to make them all! I just chatted with Tammy and she has been featured on Etsy and other places and is going crazy with inquiries by people who want to buy her stuff!
























Wednesday Weading...whoopsie...I just had to do that!

Finished this...a snarky YA character who loves Nancy Drew and is trying to find out who killed the football coach...this was one fun book...series possibility? Yes!



Reading this now...I loved his book You! This one is YA freaky scary!

Tuesday's Thoughts...

Blog trouble again today...so this will be brief...I can't tell if it's my entire blog or if it's just when I add photos...oh my...and darn!

This was supposed to be a photo filled post about books but that's not happening...I can't post photos of my books! So sad!

I can take a photo and post it ASAP but that's it...so here is sleeping Roxie...lol...





I have already deleted the app and put it back on again and still nothing works! Oh my!

Happy Tuesday...I am off to find a fix!

Monday Matters!

I love football! I get so much reading accomplished! It's amazing how I can tune out the screams, shouts, pacing, and tears...that all come from Den...I think I can read through anything!

Finished this...it was so good...I love books that are so beautifully written that I am lost in them...this was one of those amazing books.












Finished this...a fun yet sensitive YA book about being gay and being in love with your best friend. Loved it!









And this one? Started and stopped it last week and was halfway finished...then...I picked it up again and finished it during the Penn State game on Saturday...a very different book for me but once I gave it a chance and stayed with it...it was really exciting...the premise? Terrorists and sophisticated organized crime...that would be The Wolf...lol...






Now...I am reading more than one book at a time...which I do not really like.

This is one of them...and I have to admit...it's part novel, part memoir, part advice? But...it reads smoothly, is funny, and I am totally enjoying it!






I also restarted this one...good but slow and I am annoyed with main character Jane...who has been released from prison on technicalities after being in prison for
murdering her mother. Jane is a highly irritating person...sigh!





And I continue to read this one...I am enjoying it but...I might have said this before...it's been so long since I read the first two...that the characters feel like strangers to me and it's taken me a long time to get reacquainted.



I really need to get back to one book at a time...soon!

Happy Monday! The girls and I are on our own today...Den is at the office...so it's a more normal day! But...we miss you, Den!
