Finished this...ok...unsure about this one...it was intense...but...so much violence...if this was ever a movie I would have to cover my eyes!

An Ordinary Day...

I had to go to the dentist today which makes me mildly freak out...I have never had cavities but I have worn braces twice...wires and Invisalign...Den is currently wearing Invisalign braces so we both have teeth issues. Retainers, whitening, keeping our teeth...lol...all of these are important to us. Today I had to have a bit of bonding on my front tooth replaced. It involved some sanding and Novocaine and terror...only on my part...lol...nothing hurts and my dentist is awesome but it still all made for a fretful kind of day. Sigh! And I have been playing catchup all day...I haven't even looked at a book yet or thought about dinner. But...on the way home from the dentist I found a new tiny food shop where a baker...an actual real baker is making artisanal breads every day. He is also making free formed pizzettes and rolls and caramel corn...isn't caramel corn the perfect food to eat after the dentist? Oh...I have to go back to the dentist in two weeks...to get my side bonding fixed! Yikes!

I am almost finished with this book and I am lucky it is not giving me nightmares...it is so good but this society is so cruel! I cringe at the actions of various groups! It is really sad, too!

And, of course I woke up wired last night from my pending dental appointment...so I actually started and finished this! It was so sweet and relaxing and a perfect summer book...about a writer looking for her birth mother. She stays at an inn in St. Dennis and of course falls in love with the innkeeper! Lots of crab cakes and craft beer in this one...I loved it!

Wednesday's Wild Ride?

That's sort of a joke for me...lol...Den is out mowing for the first time this season! So exciting! We are entering that once a week mow, trim, water, and sweep phase...oops...I almost forgot the taking Aleve and complaining part! These are my sounds of Spring!

 

 

Reading this...it's intense! It's fast paced! It's really really riveting!

The girls were not bothering any of my pencils or books until today...when they became incredibly fascinated with them!

Tuesday's Trivia!

Right now...on this cool rainy East Coast day...when I don't know the future of my quest for a hair color that I am not allergic to...when we have no clue where we want to live...and when I should be going through every room in our house...getting rid of unnecessary stuff...I am comfy on the sofa...stuffed from really amazing tacos...reading and blogging and reviewing...trying to get stuff done so I can color! Yes! Color! What is wrong with me and...why is coloring so much fun? In total Patty fashion...I have purchased tons of books and the best colored pencils...Prismacolor...they color like velvet! Lol! The colors are amazing! Plus there are special sharpeners and blending markers and there was even a segment on grown up coloring on the Today Show!

Some of my books...I just bought a few more...

 

Den's paint sets...I didn't want Den to feel left out so I bought him a painting kit! Lol!

And we just now moved a table into the sunroom for our coloring and painting endeavors.

I have a friend who just got a prismacolor set of 150 pencils. When she uses them she keeps them in their cases and replaces them in their right spot when she is done. My coloring methods make her crazy! My pencils are all dumped together and I pull out random colors and just color anything...I don't even finish entire pages. I just color in a free form manner until I get bored with that color and then I grab a new color. It's so freeing! Lol! After a while...days...weeks...an entire page is colored in!

I Hate To Experiment But...

Welcome back! I think that is more for me since I took the week end off! Lol!

I am working with a new blogging app...called Blogsy...so I have no clue what this post will look like! I am relying on you to tell me! Working with it is different but fun. I don't know if my blog will look the same or if it will be totally different...sigh!

It is so lovely here, today! The girls were on the deck with us yesterday. But almost every hour after that they cried to go out again! They have very limited outside access. Stroller to sunroom to deck and back in again! They seem to love being in their stroller...together...much to our surprise!

 

I am reading this and it is so different and so unique...Rose...married to Josh...mom to three young children...is only really happy in her dream world with Hugo...and then suddenly she sees Hugo in real life! It's really a unique story!

 

It took me forever to just get these two photos to stick...so this might be a short post today! I feel as though I need to get out fast before something bad happens...my photos keep disappearing so that can't be a very good sign...can it?

I shouldn't have because I can't delete this one...but it is such a sweet book that I read and reviewed for the author!
