Friday's Thoughts!

Isn't it the first day of SPRING? It's SNOWING here! It's a great day to stay in and read...snow is covering my purple hyacinths...so strange!

Just finished this...so good...a yummy mystery involving teen suicides, adultery, and lots of secrets and lies...



This is next in my reading line up...


This has been such a weird week...my hair issues...my iPad issues...I have not been visiting all my blogs...but I will catch up!

Have a lovely week end! I won't be back until late on Monday when my iPad is all fixed...hopefully...Den has the same new iPad Air 2 that I have and he is totally issue free!

My World Is A Picture Less World...So Sad!

IOS updates...are literally killing me...every single update is making something else bad happen to my iPad...my brand new iPad Air 2...the one that I still love although I am not sure why.

So...I can't post pix of what I am reading...so sad...it's a black and white world for me until I get to my rescheduled Apple Genius Bar appointment...oh boy...

Blogging until Monday will be brief...if at all...sigh!

Oh...My Head...

I think I am having an allergic reaction to my hair color! My head is pounding, my forehead is reddening and I feel itchy! Yikes...this is an organic color that I am not supposed to be allergic to and yet I am! Google says my reactions could mean an allergy to something called PPPD! This all started yesterday but after some benedryll and a sleepless night...my head was pounding literally...I finally feel normal! Sort of...

So...I am sipping minty tea...and resting on the sofa...it's a do nothing rest my head kind of day...oh...I am munching on my Costco Goldfish crackers!

Blogger is having hiccups again today and won't allow photos...sigh!

I am not reading...yet but when I do later...I am not sure what I will choose!

Books...

Reading this...in fact I am doing nothing else other than reading book...it's about an Irish Catholic Boston family...the family of a policeman...Joe...his wife...Rosie...and their four grown children. It is how the diagnosis of this horrible disease...Huntington's Disease...can literally affect an entire family and future generations of a family. If you are a parent with this disease your children have a 50% chance of carrying the disease, too, as do their children...it just goes on and on and on. No cure, no breaks, no hope...I can't put this book down. The funny thing is that I have not read any of her other books...I just haven't wanted to...and this one...simply unbelievably sad and good...so good!





That's it for me today...it's in the 60's here...sort of...I am off to a hair appointment...then back home to finish this book.
