I feel really badly for the mouse...but even though he did chew the wires...our AC stopped working again later that day...it keeps throwing the circuits because the compressor is dying so...a new AC will be installed this week...better cooler stronger! And we can stop running down to the basement every three hours! Yeah!

Plus Amazon Vine lures me in with all of their book choices just ripe for the choosing! I need to make myself stop for a while...read and review my Vine deadline books and maybe choose less?

It'll be nice to have a new air conditioner until you get the bill for it. We had our upstairs done recently. Now I'm curious about The Wolf Road and jerky.

DeleteSeems there's a lot of that going on this year! We had to replace ours in our old house a couple of years ago. Then the next summer, it stopped working so we had to call a repairman out. Turns out my husband wasn't turning the fan off before mowing, so grass was getting in there (but HELLO?, we never turned the a/c off before when he mowed!).

DeleteWe recently got a whole house fan installed. It's a fan that's hung from the rafters. A damper opens when you switch it on; we will when it cools down outside. Until that we keep the blinds and windows shut. Any unwanted creature in our house gets eliminated. I don't mind if they're outside but inside, sorry you're an intruder.
