Next up...two things...one good...one not so good...
We got our new car and they gave me an iPad mini! It's so cute! But it was sad saying good bye to my car...I loved it!
Something bit my arm in the night! I felt a pinch but I thought I was dreaming! Now I have an itchy red bump on my arm! Den is freaking me out about it but it really doesn't hurt...again...I seriously thought I was dreaming! We have searched the entire house and installed a bug zapper electronic thing but we are both afraid of what might be lurking in the dark and out to get us!
Yikes!
Happy Wednesday!
Love the cover of Whiskey Charlie and if Stephanie Clifford is a 21st-century Edith Wharton, I'll definitely be reading her book!
ReplyDeleteThose books look good...that bug, not so much. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your new car! I would like to read Whiskey and Charlie if I had the chance.
ReplyDeleteI actually have been stung by scorpions twice, not here in So Cal, but in FL! We built our first home there on a lot and I guess we disturbed many local insects because we had scorpions creep in and walk on the ceiling several times during the first couple of months. My cat luckily would sit and stare at it and warn my hubby to get the broom. My bites, stings, pinches... whatever it is called, happened once when I picked up "something" on the carpet in the kids' room and I thought it was a loose piece of toy, in the dark! The second was when I was sitting out on our deck. Not a pleasant thing, but that variety not life-threatening for the average folk.
My arm looks awful!
DeleteHope you love the new car as much as the old one. And yikes on the bite - hopefully its not from a scorpion! Enjoy your new books too :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Mary! I want my little car back!
