This book is so good! I could not...and I know I say this tons of times but this book is literally UNPUTDOWNABLE! It's especially relevant now because the weather is so hot...parents are distracted and far too busy...and really important things can be forgotten...like babies in hot cars. So...this book is about Ellen...the social worker...her family...and a little girl...Jenny...who accidentally finds her way into this family...for a few days, anyway. Relevant...important...thought provoking...
Plus this lovely author already retweeted my review! Authors are my rock stars!
Reading this...I needed a total change of pace!
Happy Wednesday!
I got Delicious in the mail yesterday!
ReplyDeleteThe kid in hot car thing... so tragic.
I will be reading Little Mercies soon! I have so much to do!
ReplyDeleteI've got to get my hands on a copy of Little Mercies!
ReplyDeleteYes...you do! I am shocked that you don't! Lol!
DeleteHope you enjoy Delicious! I'm listening to it now and I'm a little on the fence.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...I just started it so time will tell!
DeleteI just put Little Mercies on hold from the library. I can't wait since I love every book this author has written. Delicious looks very good also, and is a change of pace, as you say. I'm a frustrated foodie, so I would probably like this one.
ReplyDeleteI am totally enjoying Delicious!
DeleteOkay...I really can't wait to read Little Mercies...the social worker angle alone has drawn me to it. I have added it to my list for next week, and if I can, I'll read it sooner. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteOh boy!
