After 2 weeks of watching downstairs TV on an itty bitty flat screen...we may just hug the Geek Squad as soon as they ring the doorbell. Seriously...I may have to be restrained!
Because one of us did not want to wait 6 to 8 weeks for the Ethan Allen stand that I wanted...we compromised but this one had to be put together...it took hours and hours and Lucy and Roxie and I heard lots of not so nice words and mutterings like...can you please get that cat out of here? And...I am busy now, Patty! And...%#+*¥ where is that screw?
Not a fun evening!
But...here it is!
And here is the rest of it...
My house is a mess! Everything has been moved around to clear the way for the infamous Geek Squad!
Happy Saturday!
I can feel the excitement in the air!
ReplyDeleteIt is crackling with excitement!
DeleteOh, it is so wonderful to get new stuff, but I always hate when things have to be assembled! Have fun enjoying the new TV.
ReplyDeleteIt is...and it's over...thank God!
DeleteOOH have fun!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sheila!
DeleteOh, I guess my comment got lost! Anyway...enjoy. By now, you're probably happily watching the new TV.
ReplyDeleteWell...we were but there is an annoying error message that continues to pop onto the TV screen so they now think they have to bring us a new tv...
DeleteJust don't turn into a couch potato! I'm actually trying to watch less TV but it ain't easy...
ReplyDeleteI always do something while I watch...like read!
DeleteI am not a fan of putting things together. My husband is great at it- but when he needs my help I sometimes get a little snippy. I don't have patience for all the steps!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way...that's why we called the Geek Squad!
DeleteI love that someone else is setting up the TV. I will keep reading as I can't wait to see the finished product.
ReplyDeleteIt was heaven...I went upstairs to keep the girls out of the boxes...and when we came down...the boxes were gone...it was delightful!
