We just realized that we don't want to go out tonight...and we also realized that we don't have to...we spent the morning running errands and the thought of a long hot shower and getting into jammies and a robe later...getting some noodley dumpling takeout something or other for dinner sounds so appealing...so...we rescheduled tonight's dinner, we are getting Chinese food and we are sipping champagne! And we are making jello with bananas and walnuts and Cool Whip...not sure why but we are! At midnight we are eating 12 grapes for good luck. If we manage to stay up that long!
Cheers!
Happy New Year, Patty! I hope the 12 grapes being you lots of luck! May 2013 be a wonderful year for you, Den, and Lucy! Enjoy your night in!
ReplyDeleteBrings not being! Lol!

We'll be toasting with beer tonight! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteCool...beer is good food...we have a Christmas one...they bottle it at Whole foods...or rather they tap it from a keg!
Delete12 grapes! My abuela (grandmother) does that. I'm super bummed that I forgot to get grapes! :)
ReplyDeleteGood for you for staying in.
What do you usually do?
Have a good New Year! We are not going out either. Tomorrow is my birthday, so we'll go out to dinner tomorrow night. (And to the bookstore. Yippee!)
ReplyDeleteOooh...that's the best! Have a happy birthday and a great trip to the bookstore!
DeleteCheers!! I love stay-at-home New Year's Eves. I'm watching movies; I have Champagne for later; and if I start to fade out, I'll sip it before turning in.
ReplyDeleteHave a good one!
I fell sound asleep...book in hand from 9 til 11:55...when Den dragged me upstairs...where I promptly fell asleep again and missed everything!
DeleteCheers!
Same here....snowing and too cold.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!!

DeleteExactly...and I think you have more snow!
ReplyDeleteWe had Chinese food but they were so busy that I think they had other people cooking. It wasn't that great. Boo!
