All of these books look SOOOO good! I can't wait to hear about them. :)
When I was growing up my mom was always cross stitching, sewing, doing needlepoint, etc. Now she reads all the time, too. She has things she created in her house and she tells me it is like someone she used to know did all of the projects. I guess our interests change.
Hope you can find your balance. Make a quilt of book covers or titles?
I just met someone a couple of weeks ago who does cross stitching. She lives overseas and wanted me to send her some pictures of book covers on the topic. I was amazed at her talent. Your stuff looks pretty good too. I don't know how you ladies have the patience for it, but the end result is amazing...
Read some books about quilting and stitching?
ReplyDeleteHee Hee
Reading is awesome, no matter what.
I let my kids stay up as late as they wanted too, so long as they were reading;)
Now that's funny!
DeleteProbably smart, too!
That cover for 'The Face On The Milk Carton' is very creepy!!
ReplyDeleteOooh...I know!

ReplyDeleteI love the look of cross stitching, but if I have any needlework at all, I bought it from a shop that sells crafty things....

DeleteI know... I used to do all those things, too... now blogging, writing, cooking, taking care of the boys.. and no time for weaving :(
