We are staying in today...all day long...cleaning and then watching Catching Fire. I am making these for Den for lunch...he is a happy boy! We have blue corn chips and guacamole and fresh salsa...yum! Now I forgot where the recipe is...I think Everyday Food?

Not A Normal Tuesday!

In yesterday's post I forgot to say why it wasn't a normal Monday...lol...Den is off all week and we went to see Divergent! We went in the middle of the day...there were 6 people in the theatre and I loved the movie! Den loved the movie, too, but not as much as I did. I am trying to talk him into getting this tattoo...the one Four has! So far...not good!












Today we have middle of the day dental check ups...ick...so it's not a normal Tuesday but not in a good way...sigh...I hate going to the dentist. But...we are going to go out to lunch afterward and then we are going to use a yummy Christmas gift card to buy a new blender! What fun, right?

In spite of beginning nearly buried in review books...I am reading this one...of mine...it's yummy. Lately I am such a random reader...a blogger...most likely...was discussing this book and it caught my eye. I already had it so I started it last night and it's really awesome. I kind of like random reading!

Not A Normal Monday!

Finished these...over the weekend...loved the first two...amazing books...cannot wait for Erika Johansen's sequel.




Loved this...dark yet hopeful...sad yet sweet...includes squirrel dumplings and sweet tea...lol.


This one was more of a "like" which was so sad for me personally because I have always loved her books...which raises the question...is it possible to read too much of one author because there is always the chance for a teensy bit of sadness when you don't love the book? The reviews on Goodreads for this one were fascinating...readers had tons to say about this book.


I have no clue what to read next but I like it that way...I think! Not sure what I am in the mood for...

I Love Being Random!

Lunching out with some old school friends...here! It's a fun gastro pub!



Last night's dinner was freaking amazing...this is by far the easiest best lasagna I have ever made...I think using Rao's sauce was the key! Thank you Pinch Of Yum!



See this Merry Go Round? It's from Idora Park in Youngstown, Ohio! It's now under the Brooklyn Bridge! My dad would take us to Idora Park almost every Sunday. We rode that, ate foot long hot dogs, dribbled Isaly's ice cream all over us and put pennies in machines in the Penny Arcade! Oh my!


This is the cake I want for my birthday! Except I don't get how baby stuff and thick books go together! Do you? So...Den...skip the rattles and pacifiers! It's from an organic bakery called...The Flour Shop!
