Books...
Reading these...again...why do I make a plan when I never stick to my plan?
Watching these...
I have weird TV taste...
Cooking these...
Salads topped with salmon or tuna steaks...pictures are from Pinterest because who remembers to take a picture of dinner! But our salads were amazing...is it me or does an avocado make everything taste better?
I want to make this tomorrow. It's from a blog called Simply Delicious...Soy Noodle Salad. It is eaten cold so I can prep it in the morning!
Right now...
I am getting ready to walk on my treadmill...it's been rainy off and on here all day. I miss my trail. But going outside is not possible today...sigh.
Hair update...
I actually brushed my hair yesterday...what a feeling...but now I have a spiky something in the middle of my head...I don't foresee a time when I will ever be hatless! Oh woe is me!
My treadmill awaits...
Hugs,
Patty
This is the top of my head. See the spike? A far cry from my long locks...sob!
You could make the spike a part of your new cool look!
ReplyDeleteLove the looks of the food...I take photos of my food, but that's usually at a restaurant...
I love salmon...and avocado. Not a fan of fantasy books, but who knows what could happen?
Enjoy your day!
I keep thinking that there is a fantasy out there that will somehow call to you!
DeleteWe were able to get in a walk this morning before it started raining. We're kind of worried about Irma and what she'll bring us next week.
ReplyDeleteYou could totally rock that spiky hair thing!
I did 30 hard minutes on the treadmill! I never sweat and I was dripping! I may have no choice but to try to rock my spike!
DeleteYes, an avocado definitely makes everything taste better! Too bad my husband doesn't like them... or maybe that's a good thing... more for me ;-) The soy noodle salad looks delicious, too.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been sticking to any reading plans lately either... hate the fiction slump I've been in lately. Hopefully it will end soon.
I am always amazed at people who don't like avocados because the taste is so mellow! You need to find that one perfect fiction to bring you back!
DeleteI've read some good reviews for the Prowse book. Hope you like it. I also hope your weather clears up - but with Irma threatening (possibly) the east coast I'm not sure it will soon. Thank goodness for the treadmill, right? I use mine when I can't get outside but it's really a last resort. I bet you'll go hatless sooner than you think!

DeleteThe Prowse book is good...so far. Ever since we found the trail...I need to be outside! About the hat...I hope so!
Patty, you are rockin' this! Yea! I want to read that first book. Let me know what you think. HUGS!
ReplyDeleteThat first book is good but not as good as I thought it would be.
DeleteI love salmon and salad, but have never had salmon on salad. I must try it! Your hair is growing every day and it looks great to me. :) Hugs!

Thank you! Salmon on salad is really yummy! You will love it!
DeleteHey spiky hair was in for a while. I think it may still be in. Lately I've wanted to shave my head and just wear a wig.
ReplyDeleteYou are more than welcome to join me and my spikes! I am going to get the ends tipped in a color...soon!
DeleteThe spike you reference is very Annie Lennox like. Chic. I think you can pull it off.
ReplyDeleteWe went back to my stylist today...I have not seen her for a year...and she is going to tip my spikes in a color...as soon as they are long enough!
DeleteIt's growing good; it's rebellious. You can use silky scarves for head wraps; it'd be cute and boho.
ReplyDelete
DeleteThank you! It is rebellious! I did buy these Boho head wraps but it still needs to get a teensie bit longer! I think I am going to love rocking shorter hair...like yours!
