So...The Week's End Is Here!

So...Den and I can be very lazy! We put off errands until we can't put them off any more. Today we needed to get this stuff done...

Costco...new landline phones and a bunch of other stuff we probably could live without.

Rothman...my kneees are hurting and so are my ankles...Den has shoulder issues...so...we need Rothman and their sports medicine doctors.

T.J. Maxx...a quick run through for sheets...because...you just never know when you will be lucky there! We found one set of 800 count ones...they are in the dryer now and feel yummy! We also found coffee there...it is so delicious. The aisle on your way to the register is filled with yummy things! It's dangerous!

Trader Joe's...their pumpernickel bread and sour dough are our new faves. We also love their eggs and their turkey bacon...

Honey Glow...a new restaurant that only serves fresh and local stir fries and salads. Get this...there is no refrigerator there...you order on a laptop and can customize anything. It was our first time there...so we were AWKWARD...getting started. I ordered a Tuna White Bean Salad...Den had a Red Curry Stir Fry...both were amazing. So everyone told us to order the Honey Glow...fresh fruits topped with coconut or granola or chocolate chunks...some how either we goofed or they did and we ended up with a bowl of granola topped in coconut pieces! Unreal!

Books...

Reading these...

I haven't been reading tons this week...not sure why...sometimes it's sort of nice to have a book break!

The weekend is very low key...just football and popping something in the slow cooker...and getting a slice of carrot cake from Magnolia Bakery...a walk and perhaps lunch out?

See you on Monday!

Hugs,

Patty

  1. I love the feel of high thread count sheet form TJ Maxx but they already end up bleached out in spots. That's been my experience. Looks like tie dye after a few washes. My son likes them that way.

    1. It was fun...except for the granola coconut bowl...but I was exhausted for the rest of the day.

  3. Oh, you sound so good! And, good food, god boks. Life is good, my friends. As I type this, Bonnie is curled up on my chest. I have taken to calling her Bee, because she is busy, striped, fuzzy, and buzzes. A honey bee, because she is so sweet. Yep, life is good. HUGS.

  5. I don't do well at TJ Maxx and I'm not sure why - I think the store just overwhelms me. I buy our linens from Garnet Hill.

I want to go to Honey Glow!!

    1. Honey Glow is wonderful...and T.J. Maxx is a fun pop in for us...probably every few months but we loved the coffee so it might be sooner. I love Garnet Hill, too, but I mostly buy sweaters from them. And Eileen Fisher stuff...and shoes! I can be a very eclectic shopper!

  6. I've become addicted to TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Ross, Burkes...These stores are like a treasure hunt. You never know what you're going to find! I love the chocolate covered Oreos from TJ Maxx or Marshalls. I have to stay away...so hard!! :-)
    How's my girl, Lucy doing?

  7. I'm glad to read you're getting out for walks now. All these new, customize-your-meal is hot now. We tried Blaze Pizza one Friday and we were totally awkward as we didn't know the system but shouldn't have been so awkward because it's like Chipotle.
