Loved this book. It was emotional, frustrating, addictive and wondrous!
Next...this one...yeah...I know...I tossed my fantasies aside for now.
Look at this! I don't quite get how the cheese stays in!
Need to make this...from the kitchen...pasta and kale...
My protectors...or is it the new soft flannel duvet cover?
So...just a few words...I was true to my word!
Hugs,
Patty
Oh, The Nearness of You looks very tempting...and so does that pasta! Those two girls of yours are standing guard (or SITTING guard), aren't they? Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteYes...they love to fight each other and then collapse on me!
DeleteI've seen people make grilled cheese in a waffle iron. Makes for some good nooks but in that thing it would definitely ooze out if you put a decent amount of cheese in there.
ReplyDeleteThat kale pasta looks good. I had pasta last night with zucchini and ground turkey and it was meh. Would have been better with a ton of Parmesan but I am cutting back on stuff so skipped it.
I don't think I could ever cut out on Parmesano Reggiano!
DeleteI loved You Will Know Me - no one writes teen girls like Abbott. I want a grilled cheese toaster!
ReplyDeleteMy own post caused us to need grilled cheese for lunch today!
DeleteI thought You Will Know Me was pretty good - my first of Abbott's books. Hope you enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteYour protectors are adorable.
And they fight for the spot closest to me!
DeleteWednesdays are always better with words! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteYou know I hate melted cheese, but I'm weirdly fascinated by that toaster! Love the shot of the girls! I'm saving it. :-) ♥
ReplyDeleteThey do look sweet in that one.
