If there isn't a link...it did not work...sigh!
Loving this...NYC and a little bit of fantasy...romance...dysfunction...of course...and lots of cooking! Three Texas raised sisters end up inheriting a townhouse in NYC...but this book is really about Portia...middle sister...dumped by her politician wealthy husband...penniless in NYC...and the idea that when she thinks of a food...and makes it...something weird always happens to someone...
The sun is shining...the pond is receding from under our deck...no more ducks are swimming in the yard...
Yesterday was the first time Lucy Grace allowed Roxie Blue to sit on the sofa with us...
Small things with these two are so precious...I think that Lucy might actually love/like
Roxie...and Roxie Blue...she will not give up on Lucy!
Happy Thursday!
No links. I have been thinking about my yard lately. I want to add some hardscaping and get rid of about a 1/3 of the grass. I have been looking at Pinterest and now have it in my head that a fire pit is what I need. Oh, and I want to throw a garden party at night with twinkly lights strung all around. That is what I am thinking about while here at work.
ReplyDeleteIf I had my way I would put fairy lights all around and under the deck. Or those roundish outdoor lights...
DeleteAnd...you should...but Pinterest is so dangerous this time of year...
I want fairy lights too. I'm thinking of decorating my desk area with them.
ReplyDeletePS You've left me craving cheesecake.
Sorry!
DeleteI need to learn to eat before I come here. Now I am hungry...again. *sigh* Looks good.
ReplyDeleteI think part of the situation with your girls is the age difference. They are at different stages of life. However, there is love there. They have worked it out together. That is the important thing. Love does that.
I think so, too...sorry about making you hungry!
DeleteOh, I had wondered about The Glass Kitchen, but now I must have it! Thanks for sharing...and your food looks yummy, as usual.
ReplyDeleteThat book was so good...I read it all day!
DeleteYay for Roxie!!!
ReplyDeleteThat Lucy...lol, she's 'something' else! Come to think of it, Prince and Mush used to sit on each side next to me, and we watched T.V. Oh, how I miss them...sigh!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for Roxie; hope she will be able to sit next to you!
