Chickens!

I really want some chickens...I want those pretty fluffy ones that lay those pretty blue eggs.

This beautiful one belongs to the Chicken Chick. She is very lucky!







And I want to keep my chickens here. You can buy this at Pottery Barn!






But it's most likely not going to happen. So sad!

Reading this still...but it's just so good I don't want it to end!






So far today I have...

made pizza dough from scratch
caramelized an onion
sauteed potatoes
made a dressing for a kale salad
toasted pine nuts
soaked golden raisins in balsamic vinegar
baked a goat cheese, caramelized onion and potato pizza



did laundry
set the table
played with kitties
fixed an issue with my Kindle Paper White



I am exhausted.

    You do not want to raise chickens! Lots of work. Plus, the kitties would disown you, probably.

    My mom's neighbor has chickens and like Ti says, they are a lot of work and they're poop smells to high heaven.

    That chick is pretty, but they poop everywhere and those chicken coops stink! Yuck!!

    Wow, Patty! So much energy...so many projects you've done; I'm so impressed with your most amazing pizza from scratch. Love all the yummy toppings, especially the potatoes and the caramelized onion...drooling! BTW. I did see the gorgeous photo of Lucy, and I must say, that she would win 1st prize if you entered her in a 'kitty contest'! xo
