Oh...and a cat not only has an inhaler but you have to buy something called a spacer...so her sweet little nose and mouth rest on this sort of mask and you spray the inhaler into that and hold her for 10 counts while she breathes 10 times! OMG...
I watched a youtube video about it and tested the spacer/inhaler thing on me and then Lucy but she would not let us hold her for ten counts and we all freaked out. The video made it look so easy! Plus she is too smart...she has a 6th sense for when I am about to do something to her and runs! My sweet girl has a cough!
We shall see how it goes today...lol...
Costco was fun! We are people who normally buy one thing at a time...but now we are the proud owners of three bottles of catsup, two bottles of Worcestershire Sauce, two huge boxes of Cheerios, two giant bottles of Listerine, ten toothbrushes, four tubes of toothpaste, two massive jars of grey poupon, eight tricolored peppers, salad for about four dinners, teeny tiny little cucumbers...but a lot of them...oh my...next time I will make a list! Oh...and one giant jar of imported Castellano green olives...kind of scary...I hope I remember where I put everything!
Finishing up this...so good! Did you figure out that Scarlet wears a red hoodie, has a grandmother and knows someone named Wolf! Lol!
Happy Tuesday! It's snowing...lightly...and I am off to get a pedicure!
We have a Costco membership because Carl's company gives it to him every year but we hardly ever go there. Most of the stuff they sell there is just too much for 2 people. I cannot imagine getting a cat to use an inhaler - good luck with that!!
ReplyDeletePatty, I'm so sorry that poor Lucy has allergies, and asthma...poor baby! Hope the inhaler will help her allergy problems. I don't have a Costco acct. I always go with Lora, they have the Costco card for their restaurant...can never go there without spending at least $50. min.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind and caring words re: Mush!
Good luck! I hear Costco is addicting.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the club! We go to Sams. But not too often! Those kitties do know. We had to close all doors to every room because Boozie would take off running when it was time to take her meds---daily! Lol..They're smart!
ReplyDeleteGood luck getting Lucy to do her inhaler! It sounds hard!
ReplyDeleteI like Costco for toilet paper, paper towels, contacts (way cheaper), eye glasses, and food for parties. I also like that they have a large frozen fruit bag for my morning oatmeal. It is the only frozen fruit that I have been able to find in which all of the fruit comes from the US. :)
Happy shopping and storing.
Stephanie
I don't have a Costco membership, but I have gone with friends who are members when I need something, like my shredder, which is still going strong after a few years...knock wood!
ReplyDeleteGrey poupon...I love it!
Sorry about Lucy's asthma. I developed asthma about nine years ago, but after the first year, I've maintained nicely on a variety of meds. Haven't used the rescue inhaler more than a few times over that period.
I don't have much storage here...except in the garage, so buying in bulk probably wouldn't work for me...LOL. Enjoy!
Maggie P. is a Maine Coon, but Chloe Jo is a rescue stray/feral. Both have asthma & allergies. Chloe Jo has chronic respiratory issues, having been a very sick baby. I bottle fed her litter from the beginning. Maggie is controlled well with vet care. Chloe Jo is much more difficult to control. I know you will stay on top of it, so don't despair. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteI've got a new addiction to Costco's mangos. I've found it hard to find good ones other places, and they're more expensive. At Costco it's nine mangos for $9. My husband doesn't care for them, but I give a couple of them away and have no problem going through the rest myself. I just put them in the refrigerator once they're perfectly ripe. They have been so good.

ReplyDeleteI saw tons of beautiful mangoes when we were there!
