By the time I put dry ingredients in one bowl...wet in another...whip the egg whites separately...and make waffles one at a time...whew...
breakfast is exhausting!
But the result is one happy Dennis!
And way too many extra waffles!
Lucy Grace is a pirate! OMG!
Still reading...
Slowly sorting through bins of October things...I do love pumpkins! These are all made from chenille.
Happy Sunday!
Homemade waffles are delicious! Sometimes I make the batter the day before so we can have fresh waffles in the morning. It's not fair that you post pictures of Den and Lucy but never of you!
ReplyDeleteLol...I always take the pictures and forget about putting me in them...lol...
DeleteYUM!
ReplyDeleteI'm coming over!
They were really good!
DeleteI can't remember the last time I had homemade waffles, but I do recall loving them! My mother used to make them every Sunday morning.
ReplyDeleteNow I pop them in a toaster occasionally (Eggo), but they're not the same...You can mail those extras here. LOL
I wish I could...I will send the syrup separately!
DeleteWaffles- yum! What a great treat! They are a ton of work- but something about them reminds me of fall. I love pumpkins, too! Lucy- too funny as a pirate!
ReplyDeleteThese were my best waffles ever!
DeleteThey are work but sort of worth it?
Mmmmm. Waffles are perfect for collecting pools of butter.
ReplyDeleteLucy is quite the pirate wench!
Isn't she though...she has a wenchy side to her!
ReplyDeleteLove, how you shared the comfy-cozy Sunday photos and little captions. Waffle looks perfect and yummy...if you should want an easier perfect waffle recipe, where you don't have to whip the egg whites separately, check out my Mark Bittman waffle recipe on my blog!
ReplyDeleteDen, sure looks like a 'happy camper'...and Lucy looks the 'part'...sooo adorable; pinning it!
