This is what we do!
Stage One...she runs away from us.
Stage Two...nonstop meowing to at and all around us.
Stage Three...she finally allows us to brush, croon, pet and humble ourselves to her.
Stage Four...we play chase all though the house and we play with her favorite toys.
Stage Five...she collapses on my pillow and is quiet and snugly.
Whew...we are exhausted! But really happy to be home!
I'm glad all is forgiven! lol
ReplyDeleteYep...all is well in our house!
DeleteAhh...nothing beats being home. Welcome back. I'm glad you made it in safely. :-)
ReplyDeleteI am happy that you all survived. :-)
ReplyDeleteWe are, too!
DeleteHa-ha...love those stages! They are so familiar...from my days with cats.
ReplyDeleteMy son and daughter-in-law got back last night from their two weeks in Hawaii. I picked them up at the airport....they looked exhausted. A five hour flight.
How long was yours?
Ours was about 3 hours and 15 minutes...not bad but we landed in a thunderstorm!
DeleteI loved hearing about LG's 5 stages of forgiveness. :)
ReplyDeleteI am totally serious about them!
DeleteYou should hear her!
Loved reading about the five stages...who watched Lucy while you were gone? (just curious)
