So...today we woke up to a wet white snow...it does not last very long once it hits the ground but it looks pretty for a while. This is the view from the sunroom French doors. The barn across from us is the original dairy barn for this property. It is about 8,000 square feet of space that the owners are slowly redoing.
This photo is of the last two adventurous ducks just before their evening departure. They are near the white pipe in the pond and sort of near the middle of the photo. We usually hear a few healthy quacks and then they disappear!!!

That's just the way I like snow - melting right after it falls!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous views! I'm a big fan of French doors, too....
ReplyDeleteVery pretty :) I'm also a fan of snow melting as soon as it falls, but that doesn't usually happen around here this time of year!
ReplyDeleteI;ve only ever seen snow once! It does look pretty though
ReplyDeleteVery nice. :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite snow is the ones that fall gently, and softly, covering a nice blanket of snow...and also watching the glittering snowy scene from inside, with the sun, happily shining on the snow...but not melting it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful backyard scene, Patty:DDD
I loved it when it snowed here last year. It was so pretty, and quiet.
