I have no clue what I am doing wrong...But it seems to me that Blogger can be very controlling.
I have to reset font and the way I want my page to look every single time I post!!!
Often I have to reset the font while I am reworking my post...every single time...
And I put up with this.
Today Blogger has an issue with allowing me to post my post today...it wants it to be yesterday...even if I make sure it should post now it annoyingly posts it to yesterday...seething here...sigh...
So frustrating and I don't get it!!!
Does anyone have a clue or an idea about what I am doing wrong?
Or dare I say maybe it's not me...is it Blogger?
Is this why everyone who starts out with Blogger leaves?

When I had blogger, I had that problem with the fonts whenever I tried to copy and paste. It would add it's own font style every time I did that and I would have to change it back and sometimes it wouldn't let me do so.
ReplyDeleteThe rest just sounds like typical Blogger stuff to me. WP isn't perfect though. The other day I wrote up my review for the Marriage Plot and it lost the entire post even though I had saved it numerous times! I re-wrote it and then when it published it still cut off the last line. Not perfect, but a bit more stable because usually WP is pretty darn good.
ah i wish i could help but i can at least commiserate! i've seriously considered jumping the blogger ship over the past month because of the quirks. good luck to you!
ReplyDeleteThanks , Stacey...I won't change because it's too much trouble...I just wish it wasn't so quirky...

I find I have these sort of problems in certain search engines. Try changing and see if it helps.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Juju...I will try that.
DeleteI absolutely love blogger!
ReplyDeleteIf you want the font on your blog to be different everytime you need to change the default for your page - it is part of the advanced settings in design.
Thank you, Brenda...I will try that, too.
DeleteI changed most of my sites from Blogger; but I still have two sites there. Posting images is a challenge, and I'm always having to try several times before it uploads.
ReplyDeleteMostly I don't have trouble with WP, except that sometimes I have to edit several times to get the spacing right.
GRRR....
I had trouble the other day with Blogger- but typcially it is fine for me. I had trouble with posts and commenting, but my co-author didn't. This led me to believe it was firefox or safari- as she was using internet explorere. So- sometimes I think it is the way I am connecting to the internet that is causing the problem.
ReplyDeleteComputer problems can be so frustrating! Good luck!
