Werewolves And Zucchini...

I have read so much about this book this week...both in ShelfAwareness and in the upcoming Sunday New York Times book review section...
And it will be sad and sweet...I am sure...finding out what happens in the last book of this trilogy.
And...why is it that it takes zucchini about five seconds to flourish and multiply!!!
What in the world will I do with all of them?
I have tried...cake, bread, fritters, pie, pancakes and simply sauteed and grilled but they just will not go away!!!

  1. I grate zucchini and put it in other things like spaghetti sauce.

  3. I am two weeks behind you in the zuchinni problem. We had a rainy spring and my seeds never came up, so I planted the whole package and now I have like 8 zuchinni plants. (because of course they then ALL came up)

I know you can freeze the shredded zuchinni for winter and I have made zuchinni relish.

I also called the local food shelter and they will take fresh garden produce. I am glad, I don't want all this zuchinni, but I don't want to waste it eather.

I still haven't gotten my Forever book - but I plan on a having a box of tissues with me when I do. I look forward to reading your thoughts on the book.
