I love reading Jesse Kornbluth's blog...HeadButler. He offers keen and unique insights on books, movies, life and a slew of other topics. He is wry and satirical and just makes so much sense. He posted an article on his changing feelings about the books that he chooses to read on the beach in the summer. I loved his comments...I think that you will, too.
I don't think my reading had changed because it's summer. But I do notice there're more YA books that take place on the beach at this time of year . . . and I usually end up buying them for some reason. Hmmm. Interesting. ;)
