Friday...lovely Friday...

Lucy and I are still lounging in bed...there is so much to decide today...I have not read in a week...this miserable  East Coast flu...that I got in Colorado...has just floored me...I have not been this sick and out of sorts since  forever...there is a fierce snowstorm on the way today...and I should get up and get actual real food...not just jello and chickeny soups...but real food and vegetables and cheeses...but I am incapable of movement...I love that...incapable of movement...I am finessing the art of being sick...I just want tea and toast...and to lay my head back on our lovely smooth sheets in our new white shabby chic bed...it is the perfect bed to be ill in...it sort of just begs you to rest here just a while longer...I hate not being able to read.  I just kindled two new books...the one by Amy Greene...Bloodroot...and Tithe by Holly Black...I am far too addicted to Kindling...thanks to Jeff Bezos...I must own a million books...and I can read at least two or three a week...but Kindling is just too wondrous for words...I think it might be the idea of carrying around an entire library with you...I love that so much...too much...I think I will begin my reading again with Strange Angels by Lili St. Crow...I cannot get away from this YA trek that I am on...Happy Friday!!!

Finally...I am back...

I have missed my own blog...first...we were in Colorado for a huge amazing Bat Mitzvah for my niece Sammi.   It was beautiful.   Then...sickness struck!!!   It sort of sneaked up on me and all of a sudden all I could do was cough cough cough!!!  Raspy whining voice...head aching...not a thought about food...barely sipping chickeny soup...Nurse Lucy leaping from our bed when cough cough coughing set in...ick ick ick...I could not read on the plane, I have been away from my beloved laptop...and then for three days I couldn't even write in my blog...what a mess...Dennis ( husband ) professing he was immune to it...and now he has it too...yuck...yuck...yuck...I have not even looked at a book since the last Monday we were in Colorado!!!   All I could do was clutch my Kindle with a devout heartfelt yearning...hee hee hee...I couldn't even remember which book I started a week ago...feverishness must have affected my memory...but I am back...sort of...still coughing but with charged Kindle in hand...I read Barbara Delinsky's " Not My Daughter" while we were away and it was delicious yet irritating...read it and you will see why...

How I Have Spent Most Of This Week...

Shiver is finished and unKindled...so to speak...and I literally raced through Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. I know some reviews about it were not that favorable but I really loved it. I am deciding on my next book. The problem is I have Kindled far too many titles and I have spent the last few months so engrossed in YA Fantasy that I am not sure I want to leave that genre yet. Some of my choices are Fire, City Of Bones or Ashes or Glass...and lots more. I am waiting for the fourth Michael Scott book and I really want to read The Mark. This is sort of a lazy day so I have time to decide.

Shiver...

This is such a truly good book and the title suits it aptly. I love everything about it...from the idea of changing into a werewolf to the way that Grace accepts Sam as a werewolf...it is quite a yummy way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon.
