that the dress that I craved all summer long and thought I totally missed out on...miraculously came back to Free People? Is it scary that they let me know it was back? I love clothes way too much...way too much...and I love Free People...way too much...when I am 90 I still want to shop there...lol!




Did you know...

that Bucket Bags are back? I have two from years ago...see Den? You don't have to give everything away! There is a reason to hold on to some things!

I actually have a sort of gold colored one and this black one. I love finding things!

I really need to make one of our extra bedrooms into a closet...OMG...such a great idea!



Did you know...

that I just now finished this book? Quite unputdownable...whew!



Did you know...

that Lucy rarely spits, hisses or growls at Roxie any more? But Roxie maintains a healthy lingering respect/fear of Lucy...the problem is that Roxie's next move will be a roll onto Lucy...and then they will chase each other!

that a Kindle Single has been released by Amor Towles and Penguin to sort of further tell Eve's story? I just read it and it's wonderful...I only wish I remembered more of Rules...sigh...that's a side effect of my over reading! Lol! But the story starts out in a lovely way with a woman on a train...and it's quite yummy!

I am reading a scary chilling yummy sort of knuckle biting mystery? The kind that you just can't put down? The kind where a creepy character who had a totally dysfunctional childhood comes back to town with an agenda that involves murdering almost everyone...OMG...this book is freaking me out! I haven't read a book by this author in ages...this one rocks!



Off to water and get some food...

Have you ever been sort of between books...even for a minute? I read this late into the night...it's such a sad profound series but I think I have to stop at the second book...for now...



Now is my time to totally switch out for a fantasy or book that can carry me away and that I don't have to think about!

I need some witches, wizards, slightly evil plots of world dominance by an evil being...talking helpful animals and other slightly odd yet kind creatures and maybe...just maybe...we need to toss in a fairie or two! Werewolves with a good streak and kindly vampires will be considered! Yum!

Hot! Hot! Hot!

The rainy days are gone...for a while...and now we are smack dab in the midst of a heat alert...temps in the 100's? And our lovely East Coast high humidity! The air is so thick and wet that you almost can not breathe.

Plus after so much rain...I will need to actually go outside and water! My pots will dry out in seconds.




This weather cries out for early watering and tons of glasses of iced tea and water and salads for dinner! Cold crisp chilled salads! And Popsicles! Yum!



I love to get anything I need to do done early so my day is free to read...and watch Big Brother After Dark...sigh! And now I am slightly hooked on The Hero...double sigh!

I am in a YA kind of reading mood...and Edelweiss had a plethora of irresistible titles...here are a few titles! Love you, Edelweiss!



















I "borrowed" this from Amazon Prime and it was so good...so sad...so wrenching...Emma struggles with an abuser...in the first book...and there is healing of a sort in the second book and there is a third book, too...it's called The Breathing Series. I can't put down the second book now...

Sundays! I Love Them!

Ok...I didn't go to church this morning...we had dinner at a friend's house last night and we were tired. I was lazy and I woke up with this little one snuggled in my arms...she totally put herself there...little tiny head on my pillow and everything! Roxie Blue...you are too cute!




and this little one meowowowing to get her out! Lucy Grace...I love your face!



I am the sought after object...where I go they go...when I leave a room...they follow...we are a team! Lol! They both love and adore Den but only when I am in the room with him...it is too funny!

Reading either this or this...I think...I finished both of the books that I needed to...and another one that I was supposed to read never came so I am in a " must read this now free zone". I must say I love it!

So...again...this or this...hmmm...both mine without strings...
