Cough... Cough... Cough...

I am going to admit to not being a very good nurse.  My lovely husband rarely ever misses work.  He will get on a plane sick if work calls for it...but he came home early on Monday and he is quite the sick boy...I have given him homemade chicken soup,  hot honeyed tea, and even took him up a breakfast tray this morning.  And now we are both in the family room and I am listening to him sniffle and cough and cough and sniffle...over and over and over again.  He is carrying around a box of Kleenex, too...and did I mention that he is coughing and sniffling and sniffling and coughing?  Oh...I guess I did...

I am praying that he feels lots better really soon.

How are you feeling today?  I am sure that you are much better at nursing sick husbands than I am...

EGADS...I Have Turned My Cat Into A Lover Of All Things Paranormal!!

I think I really have turned my precious Lucy Grace into a paranormal loving kitty.  I was watching Supernatural and it just happened to be about vampires and for some odd reason LG began watching it...she was mesmerized!!!

I actually wanted to change the channel but I did not want to distract her so we watched this vampire/vampire hunter battle for about 30 minutes.

This is LG after the vampires were battled and terminated.
OMG...I think I have to monitor her television watching from now on!!!

Kindle Me Happy!!!

These are the books that I bought for my Kindle last week.
I am in the mood for some mystery and this should be a good one.  I saw a blurb about this one in Strand Magazine.

I have been away from mysteries for a while but I have read great reviews of this author's books...especially this one.  It is rumored to be her best book yet.

I love all of Michael Scott's books and this is a 99 cent addition to his trilogy that I devoured.   Michael Scott was one of the first fantasy authors I have ever read.  His books are amazing.  I could not put them down. They are rich with fabulous characters.  I believe he is working on a fourth book.  The Joan Of Arc character has been in all of his books.

Just read a review about this one and it was a must have.  It contains mystery and a private academy and lots of secrets.  That is the perfect YA book recipe for me.

If you have never read Kate Atkinson...she is a must read.  The most incredible writing...she is addictive.  This is her latest.

Another one by this author...this one contains mysticism and just a teeny bit of witchy stuff.

OMG...who does not love this author...her books are so lovely and this one promises to hold some mystery, too!!!
The last of my Kindled books is this one...described this way from Amazon..."
Frances O' Roark Dowell's fierce humor and keen eye make her YA debut literary and wise. In the spirit of John Green and E. Lockhart, Dowell’s relatable, quirky characters and clever, fluid writing prove that growing up gets complicated…and normal is WAY overrated."

Yum for all of the books above but I am officially on Kindle overload...

What did you acquire via library, mail or wifi last week?
