A Lazy Saturday!

I am totally hooked on these things...Zentangles! Thanks, Carol! Lol! I have always sort of been intrigued by them and every time I see one somewhere I want to draw one.

So...I bought this book...









And I bought some special pens and I am zen doodling all over the place!












Tonight? Dinner Date Night! House Of William And Merry!












Reading...this book...still...sigh! Yesterday was a busy day! We popped into a new gastro pub for an early dinner! Fun...we had a turkey burger and a hamburger and sweet potato fries! Den had a 12% alcohol beer yesterday...a micro brew called Whisper...then we went home to books and TV!

Reading Slump? Thoughts Of Spring!

I think I might be in a teensie bit of one!

Or...is it that I have way too many distractions this week! I am reading but this week people as well as kitties are really distracting me...there is lunch out and shopping and movies and catching up on TV and stupid American Idol and Survivor and Girls and Amazing Race and Harry Bosch on Amazon Prime...whew...oh and Doctor Who and Ripper Street and True Detective...plus I am not waking up in the middle of the night to read...oh well...

I will finish this today...so good...Cress is really Rapunzel and everyone is working on stopping an ill fated marriage...I wonder if these books will be movies?







Spring really is around the corner! Spring makes me yearn for comfy toss on dresses...with flip flops...these from Free People are some of my faves! I have two of these...I call it my Spring/Summer Stash!

Just bought this book...because...it's magic and a first time author and I saw five stars everywhere and because Goodreads said this...

It said more but that's all I needed to know that I needed this book...plus I love love love the cover!











I could not resist diving right into the third book in the Lunar Chronicles and it is so good!









Off to gather groceries and go to Big Fish for lunch! Yum!

This Is Not A Fun Day!

Den is holed up in his study doing tax prep...I hate tax prep! I hate the moans and groans and screams that I can hear. I hate the questions...does this printer scan, do we have any staples, is there black ink anywhere? Sigh!

I keep forgetting to schedule days out when it's tax prep time. I am in another room far far away with headphones on but I am still wincing for every moan and groan!

Sigh!

This is Hearty Dinner Day...roasted broccoli, sautéed apples, baked stuffed pork chops...when a boy is holed up in his study screaming...the least I can do is make a really yummy dinner!

Lucy, Roxie and I are staying out of the way...lying low...reading...this day is not much fun for any of us! At all...

Finished this...in all of its YA glory!



What's up next? Not sure...either of these...or who knows? Sometimes I get stuck in a YA/Dystopian/Fantasy mode and I can't escape for at least a few books!






Plus now I have someone watching me...waiting for fun to happen!

Stuff!

Yesterday we joined Costco...something that we said we would never do! We did it because Lucy has allergies/asthma and she needed an inhaler...OMG...the same kind that people use...her inhaler was $200.00...OMG...but less at Costco so...off we went.
Oh...and a cat not only has an inhaler but you have to buy something called a spacer...so her sweet little nose and mouth rest on this sort of mask and you spray the inhaler into that and hold her for 10 counts while she breathes 10 times! OMG...

I watched a youtube video about it and tested the spacer/inhaler thing on me and then Lucy but she would not let us hold her for ten counts and we all freaked out. The video made it look so easy! Plus she is too smart...she has a 6th sense for when I am about to do something to her and runs! My sweet girl has a cough!




We shall see how it goes today...lol...

Costco was fun! We are people who normally buy one thing at a time...but now we are the proud owners of three bottles of catsup, two bottles of Worcestershire Sauce, two huge boxes of Cheerios, two giant bottles of Listerine, ten toothbrushes, four tubes of toothpaste, two massive jars of grey poupon, eight tricolored peppers, salad for about four dinners, teeny tiny little cucumbers...but a lot of them...oh my...next time I will make a list! Oh...and one giant jar of imported Castellano green olives...kind of scary...I hope I remember where I put everything!


Finishing up this...so good! Did you figure out that Scarlet wears a red hoodie, has a grandmother and knows someone named Wolf! Lol!
