Trivial Pursuits...

It's so unlike me but I barely read yesterday...barely...I just was not in the mood. Den was outside putting more smooth rocks under the deck and I had to literally force him to stop...he was exhausted...and then...well...then I started watching Diagnosis Murder where Dr. Mark Sloan was at his beach house while eventually all of his friends popped in to chat and solve murders. I love this ridiculous show! Today Dr. Mark Sloan and Jessie are quarantined at the beach because they tried to save someone walking on the beach who has small pox. Yikes!

They are running out of things to do!

And now...I need a cookie! And I don't feel like making any and we don't have any cookies...not even cold hard store ones. Not even a lonely Oreo or a sad Chips Ahoy. Or a Tate's...have you ever tried Tate's? OMG!

Ok...back to Dr. Sloan and this book...neither are as much fun without a cookie!

Hugs,

Patty

  2. Do you help with the yard work? I know here it is too much for one person. Enjoy your trivial pursuits. Do you still colour?

  4. I wanted cookies today...and yesterday; I even went to the store, but forgot to buy some. Of course I won't make any, since I never have the ingredients...LOL.

I like Dick Van Dyke, from his show back in the day with Mary Tyler Moore, to Diagnosis Murder, with Victoria Rowell, who was on Young and the Restless. She also wrote some books, which I've read, and I saw her at BEA in LA, 2008.

    Some trivia for you.

I haven't watched Diagnosis Murder since it left the networks, but I think I mentioned that I have the Hallmark Channel on, muted, so it's playing in the background while I read.

    1. Love that trivia and I love her on this show...I have Five to watch today and I am so excited! I just want to sit with tea and a cookie...not read or be distracted by anything and watch! Get the Break and bake cookies! You can make as many as you want at a time! Den made 6 last night and they were yummy!

  6. My husband watches Columbo ever morning before starting work (it's on as I type this) and he'll leave the TV on. I put it on mute as soon as he leaves. Yesterday, Diagnosis Murder was on for hours after he went downstairs and while I was working, I'd stare at the screen occasionally. I did see them standing on a beach! It may not have been the same one. There was also one with John Ritter and Jim Belushi, which was odd!
