Images...Random Ones...

Homemade Kombucha from The Kitchn...I want to try this because I drink it daily...but I am afraid...very afraid...plus Den told me one bottle was a serving when it's really two servings...I am still recovering. This kind of spicy sharp tangy drink is good for your gut!

Stuck with this series and I loved it...

Sort of stuck with this one and I didn't love it...

The chair we never sit in...it's perfect for reading, resting, relaxing in and we never do! Roxie used it when she was going through her Princess And The Pea phase...

What I did for love...

This pasta salad from Spicy Southern Kitchen amazes me...those are Fritos!

The kitten my brother adopted and the dog who loves her...

One of the first quilts I made...

It's just so pretty...I think this was on a blog called Cup Of Jo...

My mom with an unknown dog...she was not an animal lover...

That's it...

Hugs,

Patty

Pretty quilt - how many have you made?

Pasta salad looks great. Have you considered inserting a link so we could find the recipe easily?

Fantastic chair & ottoman. I think I'd be in it all the time - but I know how it happens that what you think will be a much-used spot somehow doesn't get used.

I love your brother's dog. Makes me miss my boys. . .

  3. That chair actually looks pretty comfortable. I have one like that in our sunroom--that's my "desk!"

  4. I would use that chair if I had one, but not if my kitty (or yours, lol) was sleeping on it.
I like that pasta salad, any foods along the lines of that type of recipe. Also, that wooden board with all the yummy food would make an awesome luncheon centerpiece-- what fun!
I love the dog and cat cuddling! I used to have some that were that close to each other but my current group like to spread out and sleep separately.
Thanks for sharing these photos... and the photo of your mother. What a lovely memory to have.

    1. Thank you so much, Rita! Roxie sleeps in her own bed now so the chair is vacant!

  5. Oh, great photos...and I love that chair! It reminds me of one I had in my A-frame in the foothills, sitting right next to the wood stove. But I sat in mine...all the time. LOL.

The food looks so delish....I especially love the look of those cheeses.

    And your mom is beautiful.

    Thanks for sharing.

  6. Kombucha is an acquired taste, I think. My daughter is a fan and I've tried it a couple of times, but...

Fritos in the pasta salad sure looks weird, but I'll bet its very good!

  7. That salad looks so yummy. It'd be nice to have a cold salad tomorrow as the temp is supposed to be 79°. I love your pineapple quilt. A pineapple in Hawaiian culture means hospitality/an open welcome to the home. Your cats are so lucky. A knitting podcaster I follow who not only designs but also sells handdyed yarn and handmade project bags talked about this kombucha making equipment her and her husband came up with (I think) and sells it.
