Tuesday's Thoughts...

Today was a relaxing day...and also a laundry day...our laundry seems to get more and more complicated...and both of us find ourselves with tons of fine washables.  Some of mine go into the dryer but more and more get hung on hangers to dry.  Some of my new black tunic dresses were accidentally washed on darks instead of the delicate setting that I always use.  They normally come out wrinkle free but today they appear to have about a million wrinkles in them and one of the necks is stretched out...sigh...

Tomorrow we drive an hour away to a hair salon that is supposed to use a hair color that is free of the stuff I am allergic to.  I am going to get a patch test...wait 48 hours and pray.  I just don't know how to be grayish yet...with so many sad things happening all around...hair color shouldn't matter...but right now it sort of does...just a little...

Den spent the day making hotel reservations for us...NYC twice and in June...we are checking out Charleston...

Now...books!  Thank you Amanda and Diane from Harper Collins for sending me this book!  I can't wait to read it!

And just a few more came my way!

Yikes...a memoir!  What was I thinking!

Still reading my same two books...the funny thing is...I just didn't feel like reading today...so...I didn't!

Happy Tuesday!

  1. I am getting that memoir. I love women's/girls memoirs! They are favourites!
Ah, grey. I like grey. It is real and genuine. It doesn't change you or define you. You are still colourful and can decorate your soul, as well as yourself. You have all kinds of jewelry, clothing, makeup...and a beautiful personality! Embrace it!

  2. Are you going to attend a concert in NY? I have a few grays. I've never bothered to dye them---at least not yet. I've just figured "oh well..." I also didn't want to shock people if I did it, decided to stop and my grays appeared suddenly...lol...

  3. Among the Ten Thousand Things. I keep seeing it around and almost requested it but there's something about it that is off putting to me. I am just in a weird reading mood at the moment.
