My Mundane Monday!

A normal Monday for me...I love to get the house in order...vacuum, dust, do laundry...boring, mundane un exciting yet ordinary and necessary things.  I am still getting used to not being on my own as much as I always have been.  But sometimes it's fun...I still had wintry things to take down...paintings in the family room, pillows, wreaths...I needed to change them to spring paintings, pillows and throws...it's what I do.  And now I have a sort of helper to carry stuff and take down stuff.

Today was fun because I worked inside and Den worked outside...it was a beautiful day!
Den's reward was his favorite kind of lunch!

Tuna salad...tomato salad...garbanzo bean salad...with Trader Joe's whole grain tortillas to scoop salads up with!
I don't make lunch every day but sometimes it's fun!  Apples washed and ready for dessert!

Reading this...

I have tons of books to post about but I will share them later...I am kind of reading Girl On A Train...The Train? while I am reading After The Red Rain and so far I love it!

Off to shower and reheat a yummy Mexican Lasagna for dinner!

I wonder if Den will want to watch Dancing With The Stars tonight or...hmmm...let's see...basketball?

Happy Monday!

    Happy reading!

  3. I would say you had a wonderful day, rather than mundane. I have a retired husband at home, so I know how it is to have someone around during the day :) I love, love tomato and cucumber salad, with a drizzle of sweet balsamic vinaigrette, yum!

  5. I used to do a lot of seasonal decorating but I fell off the wagon. I've got to get back to that!
