Finally...Christmas!

Den did the best thing ever for me yesterday...he was in the basement...he said to prep for me to climb into the crawlspace to get out the Christmas bins...but he asked me to give him a few minutes before I came down...he said so he could make a clear space for the bins.

Getting the bins is a nasty dusty job...I have to climb up a ladder, crawl into the crawlspace...and slide the bins to the opening so Den can lift them down to the regular basement. We do it every year and we both hate it! But...when I got to the basement Den had the bins all out...and ordered...light bins in one spot, ornaments in another, Santas, snowmen and every holiday bin was placed so that it was easy to get to...I worked inside...Den outside...and we collapsed at 6 ish...whew! I still do not know how he managed it by himself! But we did it!

Today...we went to Terrain for twinkly lights for the mantel...and wreaths! Terrain wreaths are so beautiful! We need two...one for the front door and one for in between garage doors...only Den thought the sign said $58.00 when it actually said $78.00...which really means that someone needs to wear his contacts all of the time!

Tomorrow we are getting our trees...we think rather than one big one we will get two
mediums...we will see...we have hateful dentist appointments tomorrow...we will get our trees right after them.

Terrain star lights!

Happy Sunday!

    2. It's still there, I just haven't updated in years, since my friend Missy died I haven't had much interest in it. I do love reading book blogs and yours has been a favorite for years, finally decided that to comment.
