I'm Baaaaack! Life Changes!

I think I like taking the weekend off...I still read the blogs I love to read but I don't need to worry about mine! I think this will be my summer routine. This time of year we are busy spring cleaning and mulching and working outside and deck sitting with the kitties as much as we can. We are planting and weeding and prepping pots and beds for summer. Den...well...my sweet Den...has decided to end his career at DuPont. He has formed his own company and is now working 50% of the time...he still does what he has always done but with more time off...that's why we have been able to hit movies at noon and actually be relaxed and play more. I was worried about losing my time alone but so far...this has been perfection. He has always had a study...so when he works at home he is still removed from me and the girls...and he will still travel and go to his office two or three days a week. I don't mean to go on and on about this but it's probably a really good transition for him...he is at home today...so last night no one had Sunday blues...we watched Amazing Race and The Good Wife and played with the girls...and...like today...he brought me coffee and peanut butter cinnamon toast in bed. I have gained a Carson...from Downton Abbey!

Tomorrow we are going to see the Johnny Depp's movie and then Den will go to DuPont for Wednesday and Thursday...so far...I love our new life!

Books...finished this...loved it...Victorian England...a gay poet...and Vampires...oh my...so good!

No clue at all what I will read next...maybe one of these?

Off for a relaxing mani/pedi!

Happy Monday!

  3. I think it's wonderful that Den can spend less time at work. He travels too much.

  4. We're always so afraid of losing our "alone" time, right?! But then we learn it's not as bad as we fear. Congrats on having more "date" time. :-)

  5. Good for Den! And you & the girls, too. And as for time off, go for it! Blog as you want or need to. Life beckons!

  6. Your news sounds wonderful! The best of everything.

I love The Good Wife, and I'm always sad when it goes on hiatus.

Three Story House looks good...I read another book by this author and enjoyed it.
