Done! Totally Finished!

Yesterday was my last blog tour! I really truly don't like them...I feel as though I have a paper due or even worse conferences or report cards. I do not like blog tours!

Dorothy from "Pump Up Your Books" could not be more gracious and wonderful. Tracee...another blog tour promoter...is the same...gracious and kind...and the staff at TLC...amazing. It is me...I am not cut out for a tour. Can I say this just once more...I so do not like blog tours. I like talking about books in my own way. That is what I do best!

Reading this...so delicious...Bea can tell what's going on with someone when she sketches...now girls are being raped and murdered and Bea's sketches are in the middle of everything. I love the writing of this author. It's so fluid and real and moving. The book is intense yet lovely. Bea is a struggling broken character. This is the kind of book that I love.

We are supposed to have snow today...I am relaxing with my girls while Den makes breakfast. Heavenly! A possible trip to Costco and Mrs. Robino's for pasta later or dinner in...I finally made a yummy layered salad or Brandywine Prime for bar food!

This sounds sick but I am craving their blue cheese stuffed steak martini!

Also I have never been in a Costco ever and we just got one here...so I want a Costco field trip!

  1. I feel the same way about blog tours - I very rarely commit to a specific date for a book. It's just too much pressure!

I can't believer you're having snow - it's supposed to get up to 77 here today.

  2. I want to know what you think of Costco! We've had one nearby for several years, and I'm a big fan.

  3. That martini sounds...interesting. Hope it is good!

I have report cards this weekend- and I loved your comparison to blog tours. :) Glad you are taking the time to do the things you enjoy- not things that make you stressed. :)

  4. I am with you. I do what I do because I like to do it. I don't want the stress of "having to" do it. Enjoy!

  5. I don't think I have any more scheduled, either, Patty, and I really don't like them either. I have enjoyed the leaders of the tours I've done, but like you, hate doing scheduled reviews. It does feel just like homework, doesn't it?

    Enjoy your dinner!

  6. I hate tours too! I gave them up a while back. I'm too into my reading freedom.

  7. You will be totally overwhelmed by Costco. Just remember I said that.
