How Much Laundry Can One Girl Handle?

My laundry dilemma...and I don't know how this happened...but...and I know I have chatted about this before but...

I have a bin for regular clothes but then those have to be separated into darks and lights. Right?

Then a bin for sheets.

Then a bin for towels.

Then the dreaded fine washable bin...which also must be separated into darks and lights and then I hang those on hangers to dry. Plus...to further complicate this laundry process...there is a meshy bag within the fine washable bin that holds Den's fine washables which he likes finely washed but not hung! Help!

I truly don't know how this happened other then I am bin crazy! In my mind...if it's in a bin...it's almost done. I like to think about things in a compartmentalized sort of way...I wonder what this says about me...hmmmm!

And in addition to my laundry blues...I can't fold until the clothes are cool...guess why?

She literally races me to the laundry room when she hears the dryer go off! And...she knows the difference between the washer beep and the dryer beep!

I wonder if I only had one bin if I would have less laundry? But then I would have to sort?

Books...

this one...it's so good...I love it! Prague...magic...mystery...suspense...danger!

  2. I'm loving it too!

Doesn't make you want to jump a plane?

My dad went once and loved it.

  3. I use bins...don't know what to say. I try to be organized. Doing laundry on the road, with Bill...nightmare! Truck stop laundromats are crazy!

  4. I can understand the whole bin thing...the only reason I don't have that problem is because I'm only doing laundry for me. If the grandkids come on the weekend, they do their own (the teenagers do, anyway).

Prague is so gorgeous, and I only know this from my eldest son's photos when he lived there (for more than ten years!). I like books that are set in gorgeous places.

    1. You might like this book...I don't know why I thought this was a children's book...but it isn't...I found that out with quite a shock!

  5. My husband and I love bins too (it's our OCD). We only have 3 bins for laundry- lights, darks, and his work clothes (he does HVAC and his work clothes are filthy). The items that need to be carefully washed we put at the bottom of the bins and wash when we need them or are ready (we have thought about getting another bin for them). Laundry is a chore that I feel like never goes away because even when you are "done" you are wearing clothes and they need to get washed. :)

    Good luck!
