It's The "I Got Books" Issue!

I can not believe I am still reading this...and it's because I refuse to not finish it. I think that there is a good story in this book...and some scary stuff...but it's that era that I strongly dislike...everyone is frantically doing the Charleston, drinking hootch, and living their lifeski! Enoughski! Pleaseski?

I bought some yummy Kindle books! I needed them!

I got some more yummy books from Edelweiss and NetGalley and Amazon Vine...but I am only showing one from each...for today!

I think I am a book magnet!

It is raining here today and I am waiting for Ron Dixon The Amazing Plumber Man...so I am going to finish The Diviners ASAP!

No cooking today...how sad...just teasing...my car has to get inspected and made road ready for our Maine Jaunt...and the best Mexican food ever is near it so Den is bringing home dinner!

I think I feel like my mom used to feel when she closed the kitchen for the day!

  3. The Last Dragonslayer looks sooooo good! Can't wait to hear how these books are. How exciting that you are getting ready for Maine. The leaves are just beautiful here in CT- so you will have a spectacular drive!

  5. Wow, Patty! looks like you got some good reads there...the saying, "you can't judge a book by its cover" well, in this case I would. I think that the 'Cold and Lonely Place' book sounds quite true to its cover picture and title:)
