Two Things...Well Maybe Three Or Four...

Still reading and loving this...so Nantuckety!

I am reading this book next...it looks mysterious and scary and chilling.

GoodReads says the following about this book.

"Lady Christie Morgan is not the only occupant in this desolate English estate. A young apparition appears, sparking a chain of horrifying occurrences involving Christie and the two men closest to her: Anthony Longfield-Lothian and Tristan Ely. A saga of mystery and sordid family history weaves intrigue for the passionate love triangle. Past and present war as the secrets of three aristocratic families come to light".

Morgan Hall is the kind of fast paced book that I love! I love a reading plan! Plus I love any book that has a character with a hyphenated name! Plus I love a scary cover!
Yum!

So this is my Thursday...heat wave warning yet again...painters and deck stainers can't work. Den is flying home in the midst of thunderstorms. I have to zip to the produce store for dinner...which will be this. What the heck is this you might ask?

Grilled eggplant something or other...from Pinterest via Martha Stewart.
Should be interesting since all three of us...lol...hate eggplant. We don't get this vegetable at all!
But it's covered in sauce and cheese...so...we'll see!

  1. I was thinking about you this morning because I have on a ruffley gathered top. I feel like a goofball but Carl assured me it looks good.

  2. I love Nantuckety. :)

I enjoy eggplant- and those look great. I know my husband isn't a big fan- but does enjoy it with sauce and cheese. It is hot, hot, hot here too. I guess the thunderstorms should cool things off for us. Stay cool!

  3. I love eggplant! And that looks delicious. We planted some in the garden this year but they're nowhere near ready.

    1. That's the problem...it looks good and then you realize it's the dreaded eggplant...I am hoping for the best!

  4. The trick with eggplant is picking the right one, and salting it beforehand and letting it rest (to get the bitterness and extra liquid out) before using it.
