Tax prep...ick...ick...double triple ick...and I don't even do it.
Time change...I hate springing forward...
Theatre...love/hate it...
We have a wonderful theatre not far from us in a hotel called the Hotel DuPont.
We have seen amazing off Broadway productions there...we love everything about it...it's not far away, it's easy parking, once you are in the hotel drinks and dinner can be very close if you want them to be. The theatre is intimate and quite lovely. We do it often but we often moan and groan about it when it comes to the actual day...we/I start the moaning and groaning with this serenade...we are too busy, we just want to stay home, why did we buy tickets...whatever...we/I can be whiny sometimes...but we always go and we always love it and we always buy tickets for another show...
Last night we saw George Hamilton in the show the Birdcage was based on...totally fun!!!
Loved it!!!
We/I have got to stop this whining and just go...and be happy.
I often have the same thought process going on here, but like you, once I get there it's ok - weird how that is. I chock it up to sheer laziness on my part.

I know exactly what you mean! I'm trying to gather all my documents for taxes too and I had to remind myself that I'm not doing them either. This stuff always makes me anxious until I get it to the accountant and he tells me I'm good to go! Ugh!
ReplyDeleteWe had the show here about two weeks ago! George Hamilton lives here in Palm Beach...maybe just part-time, but he does have a home here.

I am the same way!! If we buy tickets way ahead of time, I often don't feel like going once the show comes up. I am okay once there, but gripe a bit and take some time to unwind.
