I Got Distracted...Seriously...

I had such firm goals this week...or so I thought...but who knew that we would turn on the ceiling fans, sit outside, grill and act as though it's almost summer?

Usually we have a snowstorm on March 15th...

I haven't even worn sweaters this year. So sad...I had some lovely new ones...I don't even think I wore a winter coat!!!

Or my favorite mittens...

Or a hat...

Anyway...here's the thing...I didn't read everything I wanted to but I still read...

I got distracted by weird stuff...like this ticket jar...it was on Pinterest and why haven't I ever done this...instead I tuck ticket stubs everywhere. Now I have to hunt for them...and try to find a rusty lidded jar...and we have been to some awesome events...and now we will have to go to even more to fill up my jar...

I also got distracted by this...and trying to figure out how tangled Lucy would get in this...

And how long it would take her to attack these...

And how soon she would claim this as her own...

But I love this stuff and could easily adjust our colors to these...

Anyway...today is Pasta Thursday...I think you might have to be a teeny bit Italian to understand this...lol...

I have sauce and pasta and meatballs ready for dinner.

And I am making focaccia later...

Reading this...from NetGalley...

And feeling good!!!

  1. Oh, that ticket jar is to die for... I'm thinking of all the stubs I could have in mine - if only I'd though of this years ago.

  4. I love the stub jar! I finally started throwing that kind of stuff out, but this makes it look like art!

  5. I have to laugh at the image of Lucy tangled in that sheer canopy. I had some gorgeous yellow sheers on the windows at my old house, and Sasha (the cat) regularly tried to climb up them. Naturally, she left them in shreds.

    A nice dream, though.

Love the look of that pasta!

  6. I can see how you got distracted. I like the ticket jar idea. My boyfriend recently got a large poster size frame and put all of his ticket stubs on a large white poster sizes paper and framed them. He hung it in the office where he can reflect on all the great shows he has seen. :)

I am glad you are having such a great day. Focaccia sounds delicious!

  7. I laughed so hard at the thought of Lucy getting tangled in those sheer curtains... and you do obviously know the answer that she would make that comfy looking area her own as soon as the last shred of pillow or cover was on it.... unless she's like Muttley who refuses to move off the bed to even let me make it!

I find that getting distracted is MUCH easier now that there's Pinterest.... don't you?

    1. OMG...I love Pinterest...it's like playing with cut outs...and Lucy would have that drapery thing on the ground in one...no two seconds...
