This Was So Good!!!

I loved this book!!! But I have been in a mystery loving craving kind of mood lately. I think that if I am a bit restless I turn to my stash of really amazing mysteries.

This one literally has everything...a quirky dysfunctional psychiatrist, tons of dysfunctional characters, a stolen child and twenty years later a second stolen child with connections to the first unsolved case.

Yum!!!

I can't even count the number of flawed intense characters encountered in this novel...it was awesome!!!
The ending...quite unbelievable...and...this book is the first of a series!!!

If you love Elizabeth George, Deborah Crombie, Carol O'Connell and Val McDermid novels...you will love this book. Toss Ellie Griffith in that mix, too...these books are mysteries with that quirky fun flawed character bonus.

Lately the mysteries that I love revolve around strong yet offbeat women as their central characters.

Delicious stuff..far more intense than a cozy mystery...

Even Alan Bradley's Flavia de Luce...next on my list...is a quirky flawed heroine...

I am saving this one for a restless rainy day.
