My Bad...Am I A Closet Kindleaholic?

These books were irresistable to me this week.  I just had to have them.
Look at that cover...

This one...is getting amazing reviews and tons of book chatter!!!

Again...every one of these books had amazing reviews...I was weak.

Swamplandia was featured in the New York Times Sunday Book Review.  It sounds wonderful.  Odd, quirky, savorable.

The only good thing is that I do not have to buy book shelves.  But...I think my Kindle is getting a little bit heavier...sigh.

I do wish I had more will power.

How do you battle your demons when it comes to buying or Kindling books?

  1. So far I've only downloaded free books to the Kindle...if I started buying them I would be in so much trouble :D

  2. I make excuses to buy books or in my case Nook Books... :) Such as my birthday, or Christmas, or a Saturday.... LOL

Enjoy - I always say there are worse habits we could have than reading!

  3. These look great.

I think my saving grace when it comes to the Kindle is that I know we don't have the money for every book I want. That immediately having it is such a temptation, though.

  4. Staci, Sheila and Carol...it is far too easy with a Kindle...I can't even bear to put books in my Kindle Wish List...I really do want them now...right now...but thanks for your support...I see support groups popping up all over the country for Kindle and Nookaholics...

  5. I figure, the e-books are usually cheaper than the hardbacks and sometimes even the pb's so you probably saved money. Yep, that's how I look at it.

  7. In real life, I'm a purger and only collect hardcovers. On my Kindle, I'm a hoarder. I can't say no to eBooks.
